3 Months Old
I am truly amazed at the development of babies; Noah continues to change and develop so much each week. It almost seems like he went from a very small little infant to this grown up little guy overnight. We've been truly enjoying every moment with our Noah!
-Noah has found his voice! If you talk to him he'll talk back but even louder! He loves to lay on his changing table and talk to you about his day.
-Noah continues to explore his hands; they are constantly in his mouth or holding/grabbing on to toys/blankets/my hair etc.
-Noah can follow toys, Bosco or people around the room with his eyes. At times, he'll be sitting there just following Bosco and laughing.
-Noah continues to sleep in his car seat at nights. We tried again last night to put him down in his crib and he screamed. We go back to the Pediatrician in a few weeks and she is not going to be happy with us as she had suggested to transition him out of his car seat...and all I can say is we've tried!
-Noah can be a little shy at times. He'll see himself in a mirror and he'll quickly blush, look away and put his head in mom/dad's chest.
-Noah laughs and giggles out loud for long periods of times. At times, I wonder what he is thinking about as he is laughing and giggling nothing in particular.
-Noah takes 20-30 minute naps now between each feeding cycle. Before he was sleeping for 45minutes to an hour between cycles. However we are fortunate as Noah sleeps through the night; he goes down at 9:00 PM and will sleep until 7:30 or 8:00 AM!
-Noah continues to love his baths; he would probably stay in there for hours if we let him!
-Noah has been drooling a lot lately. When this first began there were many signs that he might be teething (gums were white, rosey cheeks, screaming in pain and not interested in eating); yes, teething at 3 months old! Some of these signs have since gone away; so we'll see if any teeth appear within the week or so!
-Noah has been on many walks, runs and this last weekend we even tried taking Noah on his first bike ride! Noah didn't like his bike burley though-he screamed and screamed as we tried to get him use to it by riding up and down the street; no such luck we quickly returned home. We'll continue to try this in hopes that our son will like to bike with us! :)
-Noah is ticklish behind his neck and under his chin! When being tickled; he'll sit and laugh uncontrollably.
