YAY for 2 months old!

Noah is now 2 months old; I can't believe it! He is becoming so animated and Joel and I are truly enjoying his every smile, laugh and coo! Noah is developing such a great little personality and he enjoys being loved and snuggled by mom and dad. Joel and I think (probably like every parent!) that he is really smart and advanced for his age...we often think that we hear him say words like "Hi," "Mama," and "Dada"! Its amazing what cooing can sound like! :)

We visited the pediatrician yesterday for his 2 month appointment and Noah received a good bill of health! Noah cried and held his breath through getting his shots; it was very hard for me and yes, I shed some tears! Thereafter, Noah slept for most of the day and at times let out a few loud, painful cries! I am not looking forward to the next round of shots; Joel may have to go to that appointment!

Noah's 2 month Stats:
Height: 22.25"
Weight: 11lbs. 11oz.
Head Size: 39.2cm

Noah's 2 month happenings!
-Noah talks (okay...coos) and he loves when you talk back to him
-Noah can hold a rattle/keys with a tight grip; at times he'll even shake them
-Noah continues to sleep in his car seat at nights due to his reflux; we'll be attempting to transition into our crib soon
-Noah listens to "music" all night long...he rotates between U2 & Coldplay Lullabies and a CD with white noise sounds
-Noah loves when you sing to him! His favorite songs: Patty Cake, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and The Wheels on the Bus
-Noah loves to lay on his changing table (preferably naked!) and watch the ceiling fan and he laughs at his pictures on the wall
-Noah has a birthmark at the base of his spine and one mole on his left achilles
-Noah loves to ride around the house in the Baby Bjorn...oh but don't stop moving or he'll let you know!
-Noah is no longer on his medication for his reflux; his pediatrician took him off of it to see if things are better...so far so good!
-Noah loves to get fresh air-as of late we've put him in the jogging stroller to get out and about on the "warmer" days
-Noah really enjoys a warm bath; he'd stay in there all night if we'd let him!
-Noah leaves his dad voicemails throughout the day...especially when he has something "very important" to tell him!
-Noah sleeps through the night-well, most nights anyway! He'll sleep until anywhere from 5:30-7:30AM-(lets hope it stays that way!)
-Noah responds to loud noises such as Bosco's bark!
-Noah loves tummy time and at times he gets distracted by sucking on his hands!
-Noah continues to love to eat-he eats 5 to 6 times per day!
-Noah is getting so strong; he can hold his head up on his own.
-Noah has been quite the snuggler as of late; he even falls asleep in our arms now (this hasn't happened since the first few weeks home from the hospital!)
-Noah recognizes both his mom, dad and his dog-Bosco; he will follow our voices throughout the room!
-Noah "reads" 2 to 3 books a day-his current favorite is Thomas the Train!
-Noah is very photogenic (as you can see)! He loves to have his picture taken and laughs at the flash!
-Noah continues to love his swing; if he could he'd hang out in the swing all day long! Noah doesn't like his bouncer yet-but we're hopeful he will like it soon. We're going through way too many 'D' batteries for the swing though! (24 so far! thank goodness for our new rechargeable ones!)
-Noah loves when his dad comes home from work-the smile that he gets on his face is priceless!

a little love for Bosco too!
