Where does the time go?
It's hard to believe that I've already been back to work for two weeks. It's been an interesting change, and I find myself thinking about Noah and Sadie many times throughout the day. I do have to say that Noah is much more exciting that excel spreadsheets! My work schedule has slowly morphed as well--trying to keep my core hours to something consistent, and logging in later at night to finish everything up for the day. Life has definitely re-shuffled, and its been great.
Sadie always suprises me with a few posts a week that I can check out throughout the day, and continuous text messages keep me updated on what Noah is up to (and what Boss is doing too!). We'll starting to get to the point at home now where we can get other non-Noah stuff done too. It feels good to check things off "the list".
I've also been trying to get back on a pseudo-exercise routine lately. After 7 months of battling Achilles problems, I feel like I'm finally beginning to get things in order. Hopefully I'll make some progress in the next few months and will be able to get back out putting some miles in. I had no idea I enjoyed running so much until I was no longer able to do it. Grandma's registration opened up a few days ago, so that continues to be in the back of my mind as well.
Bosco continues to adjust, although you can still see that "look" in his eyes. It will be great for him once I'm able to run again, and as the temps get warmer he can spend a little more time in the yard. He's been great around Noah though. Just like with full grown humans---after he expends that first mandatory 5 minute spaz-period, he mellows out quite a bit. A swear he has a split personality. 5-minute-spaz-Bosco is what makes Bosco so much fun though too! I have to continuously remind myself that his high-moments for the day usually only consist of about ten things: Sadie, Noah, myself, food, water, outside, car-ride, walk, run, and anything to do with a new face! He's a good dog 97% of the time:) Well thats all thats new on the LaFrance-front. Here's some random photos from the week:
