Happy National Frozen Food Day
I didn't make that up...it really is National Frozen Food Day. Leave it to Ronald Reagan to proclaim that one....I'm kind of suprised we won the Cold War. But hey, I guess Green Giant benefits from that one and helps pay our bills, so I shouldn't complain. Weird nonetheless.
Well, enjoy the rest of NFFD and eat those veggies!
In other news, its been a rough last 7 days and at the time of writing this, there is only 7.5 hours of real work left before Sade and I's vacation begins. I really never pictured myself enjoying a beach-style vacation, but I find myself looking forward to the beach this year, more than anyother time in my life. The upside of the past month or so is that the days have been flying by. Training has begun for Grandma's and TC, so that makes the days go by quick. Halfway through my runs I've found myself craving a Summit and catching a quick Sopranos (thanks MJ&CJ!)...needless to say I've gone through a lot of beer, and am now looking forward to season 5 coming soon on Netflix! Sadie has been real busy with her sewing projects too--and nights when she's busy with that I've been working on the basement too.
The running is going decent, but it's the hardest plan I've ever done yet, so hopefully I can stay injury free, and just plain accomplish what the plan is calling for. The past couple hard runs I've been 20 seconds/mile off where I need to be---oh well, I guess I can attribute that to the cold air(or the beer).
Bosco is being shipped off to the farm tomorrow---I think he knows. He's been real antsy lately. He'll have such a great time, but hopefully he won't get eaten by Shelby, his 1/8 size nemesis. He's been amazingly perceptive lately. If I put on one article of clothing that smells like sweat he starts sprinting around the house---knowing that he's going for a run! It's even more funny when I put on my bike stuff and go downstairs and bike on the trainer....he sits upright, nice and proud, and just stares me down like I'm the most cruel human ever.
Well, enjoy the rest of NFFD and eat those veggies!
