My new hobby...sewing!

Well my sewing machine was purchased in the summer of 2007 and I have finally taken it out of the box and signed up for some lessons! I have taken a few lessons from a coworker who use to sew for Singer and then I have also taken some lessons with my friend Emily H. at a fabric store in NE Minneapolis. http://www.craftyplanet.com/ I am truly enjoying this new hobby; Joel would even go as far as calling me addicted...I might agree! I have many projects going on at this time, some baby blankets and burp cloths for the many pregnant friends that I have. I have also sewed many totes. These totes are great, as they are versitile with many uses (re-usable grocery bags, book bags, beach bags) and most importantly they are reversable! Gotta love a 2 in 1 bag!
